The Traditional BigToes shoe design is so much more than a cute, easy-to-put-on choice. Baby shoes that take a science-based approach to create a comfortable shoe which is designed to mimic barefoot walking. Scientifically designed to the fan-shape of a babies foot. The Big Toe Box allows toes to move freely with no feeling of constriction. This enables babies and toddlers to comfortably spread their toes when learning to stand, balance and walk.
Free toe movement stimulates bone growth as well as assisting with cognitive development.

BigToes shoes are a glue-free shoe with the sole made of TPE (Thermoplastic Elastomer) which is harmless to humans. There is no toxic materials detected throughout any BigToes products, instilling confidence in parents that BigToes are the most suitable shoe for their pre-walker or toddler.

With non-slip technology applied, the strong grip on the sole of the shoe ensures safety for the wearer when on wet or slippery surfaces. The grip is designed to not be a trip hazard when worn on coarse surfaces (such as concrete).

BigToes shoes have breathable holes in the outsoles to allow sweat, moisture and water to escape the shoe, which also enables them to be slip resistant water shoes in summer. This breathability offered with BigToes Shoes also helps combat foot odour, with majority of wearers no longer developing or experiencing odour when worn on warmer days.

The simplest way to measure your baby’s feet for BigToes is to place their foot on a blank piece of paper and draw a line at the top of their big toe and the end of their heel. You can also use a ruler or measuring tape to measure from big toe to heel. As babies have higher tops of their feet, it is important to ensure the shoe is bigger than their actual foot size. The tops of BigToes take the shape of socks so after measuring your baby’s feet you should select a size which is 3-5mm bigger than the measurement.

BigToes shoes are fully machine washable to 30°C. When washing, please place shoes in a delicates bag prior to commencing the wash cycle. Do not tumble dry. Do not bleach. Do not use harsh biological chemicals. Note: to maintain the quality of the fabric, hand washing is recommended.
