With its rollerball refill, the LAMY Tipo writes just as fluently and accurately as one would expect of any LAMY pen - and it is ready for use instantly! This is because instead of a cap, it has an integrated clip-push mechanism that makes for extremely swift selection. When the clip is pressed to extend the rollerball tip, the clip itself retracts into a slot in the shaft. When the top of the clip is pressed, however, the rollerball tip disappears inside the body and the clip returns to its original position.
