Moomin Misabel Yellow Mug 300ml by Arabia

Children and adults alike fall in love with the sympathetic characters of Moomin Valley as created by the author Tove Jansson. The Arabia artist Tove Slotte-Elevant has designed the delightful Moomin objects in keeping with the original drawings.

The new yellow Misan Moomin mug shows an illustration from the story of Moomin's maid Misan which was published as a cartoon under the name "Pretend play" in 1956. Misan is sometimes also called Miska in Finnish and in the cartoon she seeks the place as a maid with the Moomin family and with her her hon dogs Ink. The fine illustration has been adapted to ceramics by Arabia's artist Tove Slotte. Your collection of Moomin mugs will not be complete without this nice Misan mug.

In 2020 will mark the 75th anniversary of the publication of Tove Jansson's first Moomin work in 1945. In honor of the celebration, a special gold-colored stamp will be printed on the bottom of Arabia's Moomin classic mugs.
